Registration for PreK & Kindergarten Opens Feb. 1
Beginning February 1, 2023, we will begin accepting registration for preK and kindergarten students for the 2023-24 school year. If you know anyone with children who will be 4 (PreK) or 5 (K) years old as of December 1, 2023, please share this information with them.
Pre-Kindergarten Registration
If your child will be 4-years-old as of December 1, 2023, you are eligible to apply for Joseph Henry Elementary School Pre-Kindergarten. Students are selected on a first-come, first-served basis provided that all required information and documents are submitted. In the event there are more applicants than available spaces, students will be placed on a waiting list.
Students will be invited to school for a screening on June 27, 2023. Parents will receive more detailed information from the Elementary School office prior to June 1, 2023.
Please note: children who are age-eligible to attend kindergarten are not eligible to attend our Pre-Kindergarten program.
Kindergarten Registration
If your child will be 5-years old as of December 1, 2023, you are eligible to register him/her for Kindergarten. Children will be invited to school for a screening on June 26, 2023. Parents will receive more detailed information from the Elementary School office prior to June 1, 2023.
To Register Students
All student registration is done online through our secure, easy-to-use Family ID Portal. Before you begin the registration process, please gather the required documents and scan them to your device so you can upload them during the online registration process.
You will be required to present:
- Proof of residency
- Proof of student’s age (birth certificate)
- Physical and immunization records
- Custody agreements (if applicable)
- Photo identification of both parents
Once you have all your documents, beginning February 1, please click here to begin the online registration. If you do not already have a Family ID account, please create one to complete the registration process.
