Dear Galway Central School District Families,
Currently New York State has not released back to school guidelines for the 2021-2022 school year.  However, I recognize that families need to make child care decisions and our transportation schedule plays an important factor in these decisions. To best support our families in planning for the fall, the administrative team has decided to continue with last year's transportation schedule.

School hours for the 2021-2022 school year will be:

Elementary School 8:50 am - 3:20 pm
Jr. Sr. High School 7:40 am - 2:20 pm

Sixth grade be on the Jr. Sr. High School schedule.

Mrs. McDougall and Mr. Miller will provide you with more detailed information soon.

All students, Pre-K through grade 12, will attend school Monday through Friday. The administrative team is planning for all scenarios that may be presented in state guidance. Every scenario includes our Jr. Sr. High students participating in full in-person learning.

Again, the administrative team has made this decision to help our families with childcare planning. There is no additional information from the Governor's Office, the State Education Department, or the NYS Department of Health regarding masks, social distancing, vaccinations, testing, remote learning options, etc. I will continue to update you as guidance is received. I hope everyone is enjoying the summer.
