The Anti-Defamation League officially designated Galway Central School as a 2017-2018 No Place For Hate®  Gold Star School! This signifies our school’s commitment to sustaining a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

The Anti-Defamation League recognized Galway students and educators at a special recognition ceremony at the University at Albany Performing Arts Center. Mrs. Christine Bornt, Mrs. Shannon Britten, Ms. Kathy Morck, and Galway Junior/Senior High School Students Kaylee Bagdan, Lily Gullett, and Madison Kieft accepted the award and a personalized banner that will hang in our hallway.

Galway Central School was one of over 1,800 schools across the country that successfully completed the No Place for Hate®program by implementing at least three school-wide activities to promote unity and respect in order to reduce bullying and foster a prejudice-free school.
